FOUNDER & STUDIO DIRECTOR

Sonya was born in Berkeley, California before making her lifelong home in Berlin. She has been working in both stoneware & porcelain for a number of years. She is one of the founding partners of IVY & GAULT & oversees the vision of the studio, as well as teaching wheel-throwing classes, & creating her own work as an independent artist.

STUDIO MANAGER

Jung Hong is a Korean ceramicist who now lives & works in Berlin. His award-winning work has been exhibited around the world. His innovative work with porcelain is constantly evolving. He spends his time at IVY & GAULT both experimenting with his own unique slip-casting, wheel-throwing, & glazing processes, as well as overseeing the day-to-day running of the studio.
